Back Massage London

Imagine
Ensure that you work all the way down from the top of the shoulders to the sacrum at the base of the spine, but avoid placing your hands underneath the client’s underwear. Repeat four or five times. Now check if the area at the back of the shoulder blade is tight—ask your clients to put their hand behind their back so that the shoulder blade is a little raised. Use a pillow to support the arm so that the clients do not need to hold the arm up themselves. If you are working with people with multiple sclerosis or Down syndrome, always ask them to move their arm into this position themselves so that you do not overstretch by assisting them in the move. If clients cannot raise their arm up to their back you can simply ask them to place their arm on the massage table next to their body. You should be able to either see or feel the shoulder blade, and you will be working on the area inside this. Next we come to work the area of the jaw; this can be incredibly tender so be aware of the pressure that you are using—you need to ensure that you are not pressing the cheek into the teeth. Place your middle three fingers together and very gently make circles across the cheeks from the corner of the lips and moving outward toward the jaw; repeat this two or three times. Place the index finger of each hand at the center of the jawline on the very tip of the chin. Use your thumbs on the very edge of the chin underneath but do not apply any pressure with your thumbs; there are lots of glands under the chin and you need to avoid pressing on these—the use of the thumb is just to keep the finger at the top steady. Using the same action as you did on the centerline of the...

It does not matter which toe you start with, but work systematically so that you work each toe in turn. Hold the end of the toe and gently roll the tip of the toe between your fingers; avoid putting pressure onto the nail bed. Work up each toe following the lines in the illustration. There are two key movements that you can use. By placing your fingers on opposite sides of the toe you can either gently squeeze, holding your pressure for around 5 seconds and then releasing it, or you can roll the toe in small movements between your fingers, applying pressure as you do. Mobile massage London therapists use special tables. As you press or roll over these areas with your fingers, you may become aware of areas that are more resistant than others and, while this can be hard to feel in the toes, these are the areas that you need to work; even if you cannot feel anything specific, just massage this area with the gentle pressing or squeezing and you will begin to release any residual ...
